I’ve been getting a number of ads from evangelical and conservative groups and it’s not the good ones, like the Holy Post. This shows me how the algorithm has been co-opted to equate Jesus with right wing fundamentalism. My confirmation bias has been affirmed.

While I didn’t put it that way, when we were arguing over human sexuality in the UMC I told many of my moderate friends that we were doing that. They argued with me that we can’t use the Scripture to affirm same sex relationships
