The Crocosmia Lucifer really come into its own as we head deeper into Summer. Can be thuggish and rhizomes need lifting and dividing but a lovely punchy display.

I love the bright yellow flowers of the lesser celandine. Early flowering UK native wildflower, great for pollinators. Can spread but it’s gone by May as other plants take over.

For the first time in the UK, the rare and endangered Pseudohydrosme gabunensis from Gabon will bloom on display.

Much like the famous Titan Arum, this elusive plant only flowers for a short time - but every bloom is a rare and important moment for conservation.
