Quick to get into, LOTR theme is well implemented and you can play a few chapters over a coffee/beer or several chapters for a longer session. Works well at 2,3,4 players although the solo is not as satisfying. Recommended if you enjoy trick-taking with a twist. #CardGames #LOTR #Fellowship

Really enjoying this one lately. Great production quality, easy to learn and some decent decision making along the way. #WorldWonders #BoardGames

Turing Machine is more of a puzzle than a board game but we have really enjoyed trying to crack two or three codes on our gaming evenings before playing a board game. #BoardGames #TuringMachine

The Crows of Coppershell Bay is a small tin, solo only game. For such a small game there is a lot going on in this challenging and fantastic little gem from the designer of Paupers Ladder. Small game ….. Big Heart. #BoardGame #PaupersLadder

Received the second edition of Paupers Ladder a few days ago and have played solo and two player. Fun adventure ‘dungeon crawl’ style game set in a world you will fall in love with. Worth checking this one out. Already looking forward to my next visit to Brighthelm. #PaupersLadder #Boardgames

Played Manhattan Project: Energy Empire last night. Have always enjoyed this one and is up there as one of my favourite worker placement games. #Boardgames #ManhattanProject

Probably my favourite Uwe Rosenberg game. Had an hour free this evening so played a solo session. Lots of variety, plenty of depth and plays well at all player counts. #Nusfjord #Boardgames

Our group has enjoyed Apiary this year and it has become our favourite Stonemaier game. Easy to learn and, although nothing super original about the game, it hits the right spot. Solo is pretty good too. #Apiary #BoardGames

Just enjoyed another adventure in the Lands of Galzyr. Probably more narrative than game but still an enjoyable experience. #boardgames #galzyr

Played Windmill Valley tonight for the first time. Fairly easy to learn and some nice mechanics. Good game.
