Sadly it seems like the direction canon is going is that Vader used the elite squad/purge troopers as seen in Tales of the Empire and The Jedi games.

Yeah it looks like it was made with a mix of AI and editing. I love the Triton Squad 501st armor I kind of wish we’d get a canon story with it like a tales of episode where Vader and the Triton Squad go kill a Jedi or something.
