Not really. She was raised with only other women so was spared too much comparison in terms of male desirability, but she does reflect on it later on.

For me usually it's appearance first. Though I'm not sure how much I ever display their physical characteristics on the page

Good question. My mc was in an institution from the age of 12 so probably any sort of homey home would be her dream!
