Can you provide official steps to enable RCS in the first place. Me, among many others, have been unable to turn on RCS at all on Graphene OS. The only sources out there are forum threads with half the posts instructions not working.

Bluesky limit, unless I'm mistaken and there isn't a limit

I thought there's a limit of 30 posts on the profile page. Most IG users have more than 30 posts. Will you be removing this limit when your export/import feature is released?

This looks fake as hell. A button called "WHAT"

There's talk about farmers dumping manure at the Capitol in protest like France. Let's hope it happens

This. I agree on principle about not paying taxes, especially since we're losing all services we've paid for. But I'm not rich enough to get away with tax evasion if they come looking.

Why is this an issue now?

Their terms have always had the clause that gov has access to their data. That alone should have been enough to not use them.

If you barely trusted them, why did you use them in the first place?

This article says that offensive measures are suspended. Defensive measures have not changed, which makes the post I've responded to misleading.

What? Skype was great until MS bought it and filled it with bloat. It became unusable and everyone abandoned it for much better alternatives. Do you also still use AOL?

To this one..

Trump added Wednesday in his Cabinet meeting that terminations are on the table for federal employees who do not reply to Musk’s next email. “It’s possible a lot of those people will be fired,” Trump told reporters.

He may require this weekly. Given enough time, he can then have AI analyze all of the responses in aggregate to figure out which positions are deemed expendable.

Whether or not the AI analysis is accurate is another topic. What also would be interesting is how many are using AI to write these

Any celebration is premature until we find out what these "changes" are.

So far, Apple is making concessions to the UK to make their products less secure in the name of profits.

This will come down to SCOTUS determining if Trump has absolute authority over any dept (including the OSC). This argument is currently making its way up the courts.

Good to know, thanks. I recently learned about this because Firefox is not on F-droid because of this closed source component.
February 17, 2025 at 11:08 PM
I recently found out that Firefox actually has closed source code in it.

There's a forked version called Mull Browser which removes these closed source parts and has extra privacy features.

Source?

From what I found, a judge blocked it.

No it's not. It's proprietary as well.

They say it's under the GDPR, but that means gov control. This is a problem if the gov passes forced spying laws that include a clause forcing companies to not tell their end users, as what the UK is trying to do.

DDG is closed source and owned by an American Corp. You might as well trust them as much as Google.

The fact that they got caught in scandals before proves they can't be trusted either.

It's great if he thinks he won it by that much. It means he will continue on course and those numbers will easily flip in the 2026 elections.

This. This policy will help blue areas (cities) and hurt red ones (rural).

Guess which ones voted for Trump?
They get what they voted for.
