Being uninformed does not protect us. Sci-Fi nerd. Fascinated by processes. Unable to resist a good dish. Big fan of audio dramatic and historical.
Favorite Series: Doctor Who. Star Trek Discovery. Lovecraft Country.
Favorite News: The Majority Report.
Maggie Stables & Mel? Yes, please! Nice sequel to Arrangements of War. A-hats threating our Evelyn's mortality. Strong guest cast who are messy & well realized. Would've loved more Evelyn & Mel talking about life. Colin and Maggie giving warmth/vulnerability. Fun. Why can't they fix the heart?! 4/5

Terror Firma: The Dr. should've just traveled with Harriet (intelligence + Fun). A bleak as eff story. Forgotten companions I would not mind more of. Charlie "Stiff upper lip" "crash out" Loved 8th's explaining his diminishing patience with Davros. I Would never travel the 8th! Must listen 2x. 4/5

Council of Nicea: Erimem's my #2 BF new companion (Evelyne #1). She's written & performed vibrantly. I love this TARDIS trio. They are cohesive in a way that makes me wish Davidson did another series. Caroline Symcox's script gives even minor roles a touch of depth. Riveting story & pace. 5/5

I'm intrigued. Especially if they don't have him travelling on his own too long.

Thank you.

😯 Putting council of Nicea on my playlist now. How long do we have before providing opinions?

Some people who never gave this series a chance are going to be in for a pleasant surprise. The only person done dirty was Porsha Lawrence-Mavour as Kelsey. She played a very annoying character very well and was not appreciated for it.

More questions:

Why aren't you doing more development around two "relatively" obscure villains being your season Finales? Sort of like what you did with "Dalek." in your first season

The news thisweekend was brutal. This episode of the pod was a needed break . I really enjoyed Paul Arthur as a guest. You could feel how much fun he was having with you & the episode. In my head, Movellans are dancing in slow motion 2 Donna Summers "I feel Love." Just found my Blu-ray. "Bye Bye!"

My typos remain victorious. 😬 I meant "inexperienced writers" could work from the the outlines presented to them by classic/ reliable writers

When I heard the new outro for the end of episode 2 of the podcast, I hollered out loud! LOVE IT. At most I thought you would have done two or three notes of some musical cute from the show history. ✨

Your conversation made me think of a couple of things. Producers like Nathan Turner could have considered letting classic reliable writers plot or give a loose outline of a story and then give experienced writers the framework to build upon and adjust as needed. Comics have done this for years

The Hinchcliff era is highly rewatchable for me. I totally get it. 👍🏽

I'm so lame. I thought I posted to Podcast entry earlier today but actually replied to myself. 🤦🏾‍♂️

The atmosphere of episode 1 gave me William Hartnell love. Lalla is cool & stylish as eff. Feeling seen in a series that seemed to think I didn't exist. Great concept that could have only been better with a Movellan backstory and maybe their Davros equivalent. Wish it had leisure Hive money.
