Basically, it's an fiscal conservative, who is still socially progressive and relatively open-minded. It stems from the old religious conservatives who believed in charities but less in social change.

This used to be the norm until 2003, when the conservative parties merged into what we have now:

Oh hey I just got kicked off threads this morning. I was hesitating to delete the app, but this made it a lot easier lmao. Maybe I don't want to be on an app that kicks ppl off for "associating" with the wrong ppl tbh.
