There's no rank or scoring system, which was a deliberate design decision for the game. Allegedly higher combo fills up Astralization meter faster iirc. However it makes up for it by being generally fairly challenging at points.

I haven't played the demos but apparently those were locked to Easy

You can tell Inti wants to do *something* with Mighty No 9 but can't (all the Mighty No 9 references in iX2, Golden Archive Collection, attack references, etc). It's probably stuck in some awkward rights limbo like DMFD currently is.

In general their new IPs don't get as much traction as existing ones, discounting Card-en-Ciel which features said existing IPs. Even then you wouldn't think CeC was a big hit when you look at the view counts on their trailers on YouTube.
