Can't believe I didn't realize it the first time that I raced them, but Sakura Sprinter and Mt. Noro Empress in TXRD2 are so totally Over Rev! references.
A first gen Toyota MR2 AW11, driven by Ryouka Seno, a reference to the character Ryōko Shino from the manga Over Rev! From her in game profile: "Once a star track sprinter, her legs were injured in a car accident and she subsequently disappeared from the running world. Then, several years later, she reappeared, this time as a highway racer. She puts her natural motor reflexes to good use in the racing world." A Pearl White Nissan Silvia S14 with decals, driven by Ayako Moriyama, a reference to the character Sawako Morita from Over Rev! From her in game profile: "She made her debut as a racer only half a year after she first got her driver's license, and has been displaying her talents ever since. I had some random free time and I played Counter Strike recently so I drew terror guy in like 3 minutes.

Went through old photos on my phone, once again found the Weiner Bag.
