They never even declined to interview, they just didn't respond, even after I sent a followup email a few days later.
I also don't know for sure if they reindexed in response... but it is likely to me IMO, though I suspect they'll deny that. But they were deindexed b4

This game is not NSFW nor labels itself as such. The fact that its marked as adult and is hidden from Itch's search engines and that you need an account and to specifically enable a feature to find it, is a testament to how it is *still* censored.

I'm a journalist with Trans News Network writing a story about your platform's removal of LGBTQ+ and NSFW content following pressure from Visa and Mastercard. While public statements of yours have suggested that no LGBTQ+ content was intentionally targeted and this was strictly for NSFW content, I have spoken to numerous creators who attest to providing SFW, LGBTQ+ content that was nevertheless removed, including some larger creators and even many members of a game jam. I'm reaching out to request comment from Itch on the rationale for this decision, why LGBTQ+ creators are targeted, whether this will be reversed, and how you plan to go forward after losing community trust.

You'll see that in our article, many authors repeatedly mention that if you specifically search for them or their games, they are still indexed, and that many have had to alter tags in order to keep their games alive.
