Today in 1965 The Byrds released the album Turn! Turn! Turn! Lyrics of the title track are from the first 8 verses of Ecclesiastes 3 and features here in Cold Case, one of my favourite series, at the end of episode 7 of the first season: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDex... #coldcase #thebyrds

Not sure about the opening track and the gala-esque brass, but really like the first 5 singles, especially Another Day in Paradise and I Wish It Would Rain Down. But Seriously by Phil Collins is a very important album. I wonder how Phil feels about apartheid in SA today? #philcollins #butseriously

" Let's go to the end of the world/ And keep your eyes wide open..." In 2015 Alphaville returned with their best since Forever Young IMHO. Only I Die for You Today and Song for No One were singles. I think End of the World and Heaven on Earth (Things We've Got to Do) should be as well! #alphaville

In God's Country is the 4th single from U2's Joshua Tree, released on this day in one of the best years in music, 1987. It is also a favourite of Tori Amos and a great soundtrack for those who contemplate the right and missing ideas of the picket fence dream.

Very precious treasure you have there. One of my favourite albums of all time. I never owned its cassette, just have the CD. I sometimes create fan art and my creative challenge is to keep the original nostalgic feel, but something different as if the artwork of a rarity that never really existed.
