It’s so hard to want them to win so badly but knowing that the only way that happens is through a change in coaches. I root for them to win always, but I also accept that they won’t be true contenders with this head coach.

NPR and PBS don’t give money to local stations. The CPB typically does that through a community service grant. Local stations pay dues to NPR and PBS. Any loss of federal funding through CPB would be catastrophic to small mid-sized stations and PBS/NPR through the loss of dues they pay.
