I actually referenced an older piece by sub-res for the ear shape on the actual colored doodle. Specifically the one where Kiri and Suzu get headpats. Mine didn't come out too great comparatively, but their work was basically the final nail in my fox shaped coffin and still influences me greatly.

it's fine, as someone who's currently trying to learn how to read kanji I can assure you that nanori readings are their own level of hell and no one truly understands how kanji in names are actually read
