The ways we’re forced into dangerous situations.

Many disabled people are trapped in abusive relationships.

They’re living in unhealthy environments because they can’t afford to leave.

They’re homeless.

They’re forced into a nursing home.

This needs to change.

First they decided to strip nursing of its “professional” designation.

Now they’re removing a requirement that ensured nursing homes receiving Medicare or Medicaid funding had an RN available 24/7.

This regime doesn’t care about the elderly & disabled.

This policy change will kill people.
Nursing homes are about to get a lot worse, thanks to Trump and RFK Jr.
We can debate tax policy. We can debate spending priorities. But protecting the elderly should not be a debate at all.

Does it interest anyone on here to know that in a few small communities in the Nordics people still eat seabird eggs, and that we are going to screen those eggs for PFAS next summer to estimate the human exposure via consumption of seabird eggs. Let me hear your thoughts #seabirds #PFAS 🧪🌍

Why are we allowing these billionaires to treat us like our lives have no value?
A Tesla worker in my district was electrocuted because the company cut corners. OSHA’s fine was just $50,000.

Elon Musk makes that back in nine minutes from federal contracts alone.

A worker’s life is worth more than a rounding error to a billionaire.
