Sorry, genuine question- where is the 'interactive dex' thing coming from? lol. It's a game by the Dragon Quest Builders 2 team, it seems like it's effectively gonna be DQB3 with Pokemon elements, which is to say an RPG-ified Minecraft sort of thing.

To me it was basically the Super Monkey Ball 3 that I'd been waiting 20 years for. I absolutely loved it.

It's, frankly, the way it was written. "We can't think of any series less deserving to have lasted this long", followed by "idk why but I guess SOME people like it, at least it gives devs jobs" is like, crazy, in my opinion. Am I reading a review or somebody's media thread on Twitter?

Mega Starmie made me learn a lot about how Starmie is interpreted in Japan! Apparently, he's often associated with superheroes and more specifically Ultraman over there. So the fact that his mega looks like a guy running around in a suit in a tokusatsu show is probably quite intentional.

I love that they made gummy versions of all the ride machines just for the sake of earning a ton of them to make a big pile and then physics them all over the place... true gummillionaire activities

To that end, I've enjoyed that that the new Pokemon has revealed so little about how it's going to play out, and really not much about itself besides a few Megas.

I agree wholeheartedly with both the idea that it's sort of existentially terrifying how quickly time passes, lmfao, and *also* that I think brand new games are best experienced unspoiled. The less I know about a new game, the better!

In the Japanese version they made the pufferfish into a Garbage Puyo lmfao. Someone somewhere must have also thought that the item roster was really dire. & it's the only Puyo anything in either game, I believe...

It would be fine if people weren't uploading their hacked time trials to the leaderboards, which they definitely are lol.

I've found reasonably consistent success using Ultimate Charge, Counter Quick Charge, and Level 2 Quick Charge. Items can't bother you as often if you're snaking all the time and your level 4 drift charge is making you invincible.
