Florence ranks first among Italian provinces for employment, tied with Prato at 76.1%. The figure was announced by Confartigianato Imprese Firenze, based on an analysis by its Research Office using Istat data on the 20–64 age group for the period 2021–2024.

According to Italy’s national heating regulations, Zone D (which includes Florence and most of Tuscany) allows heating from November 1 to April 15, up to 12 hours per day.
