Do you know what a #community #flood group is?🤔
A #FloodGroup can host multi-agency meetings, and bring questions and queries forward from the #community to risk management authorities.💧

We have supported many #Communities across the #NorthWest, and our experience is that #flood resilient communities are able to respond better and ‘bounce back’ more quickly from #flooding and difficult situations. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑
Having a local Flood Group is a great way to achieve this!

🍂We are more likely to see blocked drains at this time of year due to falling leaves
🍂Next time you’re out, take time to check any road gullies for blockages🤝
If you see leaves blocking a drain, and if it is safe to do so, scrape them away with your foot to prevent a blockage
