We just noticed Uber is using Dynamic Currency Conversion in its app, and it defaults to paying in USD (if you have a USD account) regardless of where you order the ride. This obviously is a scam and is an extra 1.5% at the moment for, say, a ride in France. 1/2

As of January 8th, the United Kingdom requires you to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization for entry to the UK. You are also required to apply for an ETA if you are transiting through the UK. You should apply directly here: www.gov.uk/guidance/app...
