You don’t HAVE to be mean when you’re straightforward, like the examples I gave!! Not mean, just truthful 🙂↕️ Putting up your boundaries and sticking to who you are isn’t a mean act. It’s much more mean to yourself to not do it ❤️

I find being straightforward is better than anything, it can weed out the people who just can’t take the fact that you are a lesbian. You should never date someone just bc you feel pressured, you already know how it’ll end and it’ll end bad and only fuel whatever entitlement he feels

Thats okay!! I’ve learned that having a friend that ONLY values you as a romantic conquest rather than value you as a friend first and foremost feels degrading at some point. You’ll find friends that care about your feelings and comfort more than their desire

If this is a friend you still love and care about, say smth like “I’m a lesbian and don’t like men but I still want to be your friend, it’ll just never happen like that”. If not, just saying “I’m a lesbian and not interested in men” is enough. I hope it works out, stay safe!!
