The upside to dealing with FedEx being stupid is that I finally have a 70s era Legends Cyclops that gets all the costume details right. Yay!

You vs the guy she tells you not to worry about

Just over 30 years later, I have a complete run of Toy Biz’s 90s FF…minus a single piece for Galactus….
Close enough for now.

For a line I really didn’t want to collect at the start, I sure did end up with a lot of these guys before the end…

And, of course, a new Captain America is no good if he doesn’t engage in some proper Nazi punching!

The screaming head in conjunction with the thumbs up is especially fun, though.

Did I buy a $65 two-pack to get a figure that’s effectively an adjustment of a figure I bought twice before? Perhaps. Is that crazy? Perhaps. Do I regret it? Definite no.

McFarlane is really good at getting me with Disco Collar Nightwings…

You know, I expected a slight issue of scaling intermingling these figures, but given my past experiences with SHF, I really didn’t think it would be that Peter was too *big*. You can fudge it okay, but he’s taller than even Miguel!

Peter B & May Day that my wife Rachel & my daughter Aubrey got me for my birthday arrived today, officially completing the birthday haul shot!

I’m getting far too much enjoyment out of squat Ratbat here

I was not prepared for exactly how much the Action Editions mean business…

Super Powers sure has a lot of Dicks.

Well, now that the objective worst Superman has joined up, ICE raid videos will have an interesting game of where’s Waldo attached to them

Bittersweet to see the end of this line, but very exciting to get the last four figures

I have also found a tech deck skateboard with Angemon on it, so we’re just leaning into this here vibe.

As I dig through the junk boxes of my old stuff I pulled out of my parents’ basement looking for parts from incomplete figures worth selling, sometimes I find something I was missing that genuinely makes me happy. Piecing together my old Angemon was definitely one of those moments.

Picked up the Spin Master Superman & Metamorpho hoping they’d scale okay with Legends. Metamorpho works well. Supes’ height is okay, but his scaling feels a bit off in regards to the head. Nice enough for the price, though

Did a super hero double feature of FF & Superman for my birthday. FF was fun and certainly the best movie of the team thus far, but I don’t know that it quite hit the same mark for me that Superman did. I’m on my 3rd viewing of Superman & it’s still really hitting for me.

Got my Super Powers Gold Label Fortress of Solitude. Feels a touch expensive for what it is, but I like it more than I expected. And another sassy Alan Tudyk robot figure isn’t a bad thing…

A few years ago, I discovered my claim of having every Havok figure was, in fact, wrong, because I'd missed his Super Hero Squad figure. After quite a bit of searching, I found one while on vacation. My claim is true again!

All four live action Sue Storms in one shot! (Rebecca Staab & Kate Mara are just invisible)

RIP Jim Shooter. My feelings on his career in comics are very complicated, but there’s no denying his impact. My first major “first appearance” purchase was the first appearance of Ferro Lad, always my favorite Legionnaire. Shooter undoubtedly changed how their stories were told.
