Really the best we could do is to get Roblox to spend more time in backwards compabilitying old games, but the engine has changed so much since it was first released i doubt it would be worth it at all

I don't want to come off as someone who doesn't mind that old stuff that isn't maintained gets lost to time, but i genuinely don't think that there are that many games that are no longer maintained which would break because of this.

To be fair, i can see that, but i don't believe that many active games will suffer from this because they don't use any custom chat systems.
I'm sure that there is a somewhat large amount of them, but Roblox has to do the change on all games, probably due to changes in server infrastructure.

I googled it and apparently there was a lot of funding from investors, that's not necessarily a bad thing but we can only wait to see how things turn out
