Been waiting for the results (in this detail) since I learned of that experiment from you in Trieste, in 2023! Congrats! Your ZX book, which you generously gifted and signed at the ICTP, is proudly displayed (and used) at our lab :)

Where i am, attendance sharply dropped post covid. The lockdowns did show that a lot could be done remotely. Students expected continuity, but many profs couldn't keep up, having talked to many. This could explain some of the issues. (at least locally, along with AI "slopification" of information)
