What ever doesn’t kill you, mutates and tries to kill you.
I’m old and left wing. I watch footy - Collingwood and West Perth. I’m not too keen on racism.
I hope you have better luck than when my mother needed one. Refused to wear it. Refused to admit that she needed it.

Until she went arse up one day. And it was on her bedside table… 🤷‍♂️

More sad news. They're taking them from our pen now.

And…. “It’s from the BBC Website!!!”

Well I just bought 4 copies of Sortabiograhy and burned them all. Ha!! Try coming back from that!

Metaphorically speaking, please consider my size 12 boot heading directly for your arse.

I know, but don’t thank me, it’s just the kind of guy I am. If I have a fault, it’s that I care too much.

I have the urge to break into a Cilla Black song “I feel a power saw divine”….

NB - a boomer joke. You may need to look it up.

Yep. Deep calls to deep on that one. Admittedly, taking on the G role is a lot easier

So says everyone. On the plus side, you’re most likely a better parent than your parents, and your kids will most likely be better parents than you.

And sadly, it most likely won’t get far. There’s about 2 million people with investment properties, and a few hundred thousand first home buyers.

I’m guessing that the numbers game means that the house market stays unobtainable for most new buyers

Heated throws are good - better than thoughts and prayers that's for sure.

Hope you feel better soon. (which is like a thought and a prayer, just without the prayer)

The hair! There must be 4 people off camera that rush in between shots to get it right.

And “birds cheeping in the background”. Really? Are they?

Sunday night - no more footy on the teev, it's definitely time to crank out my Renée Geyer playlist and gently reminisce. I had her first album way back in the day - but now it's a greatest hits CD.

It was - way way too early.

Renée Geyer - such a talent - such a voice. I "may" have had a slight crush on her after I saw her at The Curtin Uni Tavern mid 70's.

I remember rain - it's that wet stuff that falls from the sky - right?

I’m putting on my insurrection shoes right now. Once I find them that is. They must be in here somewhere.
May 1, 2025 at 8:19 AM
Wow. That’s quite the call. Impressive if true.

I await the revelation that you also forget people’s birthdays, don’t like kittens, and most damning, have sweets after refusing to finish your vegetables.

Time to follow the latest health advice from the US. Keep away from vaccines and fluoride, and instead take Vitamin A and drink raw milk. You should be right as rain in a few days

What could possibly go wrong?

You’ve got my vote.
April 21, 2025 at 12:54 PM
It does, a little. But if the race is incredibly tight, by the time it gets to that point, it does become important. (The closest seat from memory in the local elections here was about 100 votes)

I feel your pain though, the last three are usually somewhere between pond scum and liver flukes.
