literally if there was a gay romance option. or even if gay characters existed at all by this point i'd probably be more generous in my interpretation but as is i'm finding it very hard to be tbh!

in the same chapter pm bushwhacks you after a shower, asks if he should take his clothes off too, and then hugs you while your towel falls off. and again, in context of the rest of the game, it really feels half the joke is supposed to be that this looks gay but it's not.

if you kissed bb earlier you can tell pm and he'll kiss you, then announce you're not why they broke up. which frankly WOULD be funny if there was anything gay that wasn't jokes in this game at all up to this point but in context just feels like 'xD this guy doesn't know he's acting faggy!!'

context: in ch 1 you can choose to kiss one of your lis, blonde blazer. she acts weird about it w/e. later you learn she had a boyfriend, phenomaman (a human-looking alien who acts p odd) who she breaks up with. pm gets all depressed and bb tells you to give him a peptalk basically.

endless straight sex pests and het romance drama and still not even a single mention of a same sex couple. there's a gay kiss scene you can get and it's treated like a total joke this game is actually pissing me off lol what year is this.

some character archetypes get better when you make them women and some archetypes are just trash no matter what u know

it does look really good and the actual gameplay seems more involved than i wouldve expected but gooooooood. invisigal sucks so bad.

i've watched this guy play the first three chapters and they have multiple gay and homoerotic jokes and yet there has been exactly 0 actual homosexuality, not even vaguely implied of an irrelevant side character. amazing.
