It appears via a SCART switcher or direct. And the same happens via S-VHS. I've compared against an emulator also and this pattern isn't present. Have a feeling this is applied during the scale to fit the output resolution. I can't at the moment find an option which might be the culprit.

I've also tried this on my Dell monitor at 1440p with the output set to 2560x1440. Its exactly the same. I've seen a lot of "interference" in my years and this doesn't appear to be the case. Note: no post processing effects have been applied.
