I saw on LinkedIn that Delta is dead and Iceberg is the new delta lake...

1. Thats dumb
2. Comparing file formats like team sports doesn't help anyone
3. Unironically calling iceberg a delta lake is funny

The reason people like chatGPT/generative AI is because its a fast way of getting information without ads.
The reason all tech companies are competiting right now is because they want to become 'the Google' of generative AI, achieve market domance and then push ads... i mean promoted content.

A common question we've been receiving recently is #Databricks or #MicrosoftFabric. To me they really are not mutially exclusive and I would go as far to say that they work really well together.
Bricks is the best lakehouse & spark engine and Fabric is the best data pipeline & visualisation tool!

Lots of #MicrosoftFabric updates recently including loads for data pipelines. However I would like to see more focus on core (less sexy) features such as trigger parameters & full private endpoint integration for pipelines (both are on the roadmap) and less edge cases such as writing to iceberg.
