I agree that this needs to be talked about, but I am not a newspaper.

(Please note that I am not a newspaper)

I think so? I think she's like 19 or so, though she thinks she's younger than she is iirc. But also idk what the drinking age laws are in Carthia, especially since being a dragon probably complicates that.

Sylph is a dragon that *can't* fly, though. At least, not without an airship or something.

...Sylph may have misheard something...

Apparently most asparagus in Germany is white asparagus.

They come in a variety of sizes. Arrowtail are the SSSW equivalent of chickens, more or less. Some are nearly as big as dragons, though.
June 27, 2025 at 7:07 AM
Oh, btw, the SSSW universe doesn't have birds. They've got wyvern instead.

She also doesn't care for dining utensils.

IDK much about SU, but the similarities between Aer and SkyWings pretty much ends at the wings.

I know that I encounter the uncanny valley effect when looking at the faces of most non-human primates, so it makes sense that a dragon would feel that way about creatures with a vaguely dragon-like face shape.

Just wait 'til you find out what Void's real name was... hehe

Angaram said that when writing this, he didn't know/consider that white asparagus wasn't considered the default everywhere.

I am not the Washington Examiner. I'm a CS student and amateur writer who uses "The Examiner" as a pseudonym on the internet.

Wait, I just realized you meant the linked article. This account doesn't belong to the Washington Examiner, it belongs to a CS undergrad who uses "The Examiner" as a pen name, which is a reference to a worldbuilding thing I did when I was like twelve.

Whose story are you talking about? I haven't posted anything on this site in a year and a half.
Also, after quickly scrolling through your feed, it looks like we largely agree with each other politically, so I'm quite curious as to what this post was actually meant to be replying to.

I think it is implied that most real-world media probably exists in DaS.

They can. It just requires more energy to process them than they get out of doing so.

Physically yes, but adapted to the DaS magic system and worldbuilding.

Northern and Southern dragons have lived primarily in the Americas for the length of their recorded history.

Seems like you had a similar thought to me in regard to names.
