He does get more clicks this way. I'm sure this is how he justifies it in his head. But he does lose a lot of his leftist credibility when he uses right wing language and framing of arguments in order to get those clicks.

So you don't think he pardoned Hunter simply because he loves his son and wants him to avoid prison as he leaves the Presidency? Just put everything behind them both and put family first as things are about to get crazy for everyone else?

The election is independent of the court system. I don't know if Biden would have let Hunter sit in jail for 6 months had he been re-elected, but he definitely went against his word for whatever reason
