Last night dreamed that someone wanted me to eat a bag of chips. I said that many were covered in bug eggs. She replied “Not all of them, so they’re fine to eat.”
I really think that encapsulates the feeling of someone telling you your trauma is invalid because you have good memories too.

The idea that poor people have to LOOK poor and miserable makes me so mad. Sorry, just because someone doesn’t have $500 a month for healthcare doesn’t mean they can’t spare $40 for a manicure every now and again. Get lost with your classism.
