"Just dicking around" is pretty generous. I prefer "shouting meaninglessly into the void" or " stoking your own ego saturated in a like-minded bubble" or "shits and giggles". Leaning on social media as a reliable message conveyance is a fools game. You get a digital cheer from the crowd. Little else
