Nintendo Switch 2 will be backward compatible with the original system with both physical and digital games with an asterisk. With the updated form factor and size, this could mean titles like Ring Fit Adventure which need specialized accessories wouldn't work.

I would add to this list an auto save feature without the option of manual save. I have to save the game myself to be sure that I can end the game whenever I want.
