Something I find worrying about art spaces I find myself in is the idea that anything is possible if you want it badly enough.

Everyone should have access to arts education and material. Not wanting it “enough” Combined with lack of access to arts education shouldn’t be a barrier.

I’m so glad you were able to go a diy route! For a lot of people piecing together an arts practice in the way that you did is out of their reach.

also adding to that, monetising your creativity is a nightmare on so many levels, from customer service, to losing the joy of creation... so i guess its a lose lose situation for the creatives ;c

I hope they pause it so long it accidentally turns into forever!
