I'm more concerned about family members who aren't white. I have a nephew who is half Cape Verdean, cousins who are half Black, or half Hispanic or half Korean. We're spread out all over the country & far from each other.
I'm worried about their wellbeing.

On one hand I have an art historian being censored for posting how to interpret art pieces, and yet to the right of my own feed I see "ICE Operations", "Epstein Files", "Fright Club", and "NFL" trending.

Looking at this on a personal level - Jupiter in Gemini in my 1-2nd cusp with the Sun, Venus and Mars in Sag in my 7th house where Saturn and Uranus are conjunct. Seems to only intensify these themes, like a feedback loop.
Makes sense given the flavor of my personal relationships & home right now.

Although, I suppose one could acknowledge that the measurement of time is a human construct and the idea of a beginning and ending of a year is rather arbitrary.

Frankly, I'm glad that there are other "new year" celebrations beyond the Gregorian calendar's version or placement. Why the western world decided to place the new year in such a dark & frozen time is beyond me.
