Strangely, I didn’t like it when I was actually reading it! But almost 6 years on, it still sticks in my mind, more than most other books I’ve read since. It’s deceptively brilliant

I haven’t read Brave New World since I was at school - must reread soon

I sat next to Lily Allen on a train from Swindon to Stroud

So far, Enlightenment by Sarah Perry, but I’m currently reading There Are Rivers in the Sky by Elif Shafak and I think they may end up being my favourite book this year
