You can save your sims tho! Just save them all to your library and don’t delete your tray folder ☺️ all you need to delete is your mods folder. The only trouble your will encounter is that all your costum content and mods will be gone, so you’ll need to replace any clothing on your sims that was cc

But I also recently deleted my entire mods folder and started over so I know for a fact that everything I have is up to date ☺️ After not playing for 4-5 months and two expansions and DirectX11 release during those months, I knew there was no other choice since I had 150GB mods
