Been playing Super Mario Bros Wonder again, and I swear this is the greatest ever Mario game. Pure creativity, fun, silliness and perfectly judged challenge. Simply wonderful.

In the last year, Xbox has put out Hellblade 2, Indiana Jones, Avowed, and now South of Midnight. Credit where it’s due, it’s been my favourite console recently. Love the commitment to new IP too, something that’s too rare in the industry right now!

Finished the first season of Severance last night. What a final episode! Edge of the seat stuff for the whole thing - what a pay off after a season long build up. Also very glad I don’t have to wait years to see what happens next.

Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate is another VR banger that plays brilliantly on PSVR2. Amazing graphics and haptics and the VR interactivity is awesome.

Wow Hitman World of Assassination on PSVR2 is the real deal! It’s insane. A killer app for the headset? The graphics are incredible and the conversion is very well done.

This is a must-play for all PS5 owners. My GOTY last year, I'm jealous for all those getting to play it for the first time! Hoping for a demo or a trial so I can check out how good it looks on PS5 Pro too - Series S did an amazing job with it, but there were obvious compromises.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is truly the most ‘next gen’ game I’ve ever seen. The lighting really is transformative in how realistic the visuals look.

Thank you to Ubisoft for letting me cover Assassin’s Creed Shadows. First impressions? It’s ridiculously pretty, and the AC gameplay feels absolutely perfect in this setting.

Now Rebirth is finished, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is my current PS5 game. And good grief it’s one heck of a gorgeous looking game. The Pro and my LG G4 really make it sing.

Wow, that’s wild Veilguard is on PS Plus already. Been wanting to try it though, so that’s quite handy.
