@robwords.bsky.social @jesszafarris.bsky.social I’m curious: has anybody studied who, where, and when people divide up contractions differently? Like “it’s not” v “it isn’t” and “I’ve not/I haven’t/I’ve not got/I haven’t got/I don’t have” and so on?

I’ve decided I don’t like LLM AIs.
I mean, I’m not opposed to the technology because I think it will cause the post-scarcity collapse of capitalism.
I just think they’re in total assholes. (Claude is the nicest but even it gets dickish from time to time). ChapGPT is the worst of the lot.

M. C. Escher is immune to AI. An AI cannot generate a “new” Escher style piece. If one were to create a new Escher-inspired work by hand (especially in a different style) and upload it and ask for an analysis, the paradoxes would not be found. All it can do is regurgitate or fail.
