T himself is an absolutely terrible political practitioner. He could buy off a significant chunk of Ds with a handful of Blue district infrastructure projects and a kick of the Obamacare can down the road, but he won't. Ds have been there to be bought off by him since 2017, and he doesn't do it.

My expectations for him are subterranean, but this is galatically grotesque and inhumanly alien in its lack of any miniscule shred of compassion. How can any person that has had a family member struggle with addiction and mental health (and lots voted for him) read this and say, yep, that's my guy.
