This. Everyone focused on the stock market impact. How about the 37m Americans already at the poverty line who are getting a massive tax hike they can't 'eat'.

An overlooked use case for BTC is getting wealth out of China. So anything motivating more Chinese to move their money out of country is a catalyst.

That's so tough Ed. He'd be very proud of his big bro today.

I have! It is impressive. I think it mainly uses Claude Sonnet.

My issue is...you need to review all the changes closely. I still like being firmly ITL. Junie and the other agents are more likely to make a mistake you can then spend a lot of time trying to unfk if you miss it at first.

I am blissfully ignorant.

One thing I've noticed with the constant emergence of flashy new tools...you get that spark of 'oh if I just paused here to switch everything to [new thing] I'll come out ahead long term.'

Then 'long term' ends up being a few days and a new shiny thing emerges.

That's basically what I have in Pycharm -- Notebook mode w ipynb, and Gemini on standby with your whole project in context. I'm not ready to trust the agents, so the integrated code assistant seems like the right setup for now.

Project it out a few cycles...we are all hooked, prices do a 100x, the incumbents now have your codebase in their corpus...enjoy the good times.

I will check that out thanks...fascinating marketplace right now with so many options and approaches.

Google will be so hard to compete with as the others start needing to monetize their products.

The performance of 2.5 has been impressive esp for coding, and they've offered it as an integrated IDE product for free - I have Gemini built into Pycharm similar to the paid Copilot and Junie agents (no agent mode for G yet). I barely use the others now.

Fine for the white collar class. I wonder how all the future American iPhone assembly workers will feel about being on the line into their 80s.

I don't think those people will be moving in. They chose the pixelated monkey JPG instead.

Yep that's it - thanks

I suspect they didn't, it's just two data points and four ticks on the histogram axis. A trendline would be a better fit but doesn't set off the stans as well.

Do they just not test any of this junk before mass producing it?

Yes that takes accounting fraud

"lifetime" of the truck not the person...so until it encounters a puddle, a trailer at 1/2 rated tow load, or a stiff breeze.

tmx capacity supposed to keep increasing to 900k bpd, that trend has room to run

I feel bad for JPow. He masterfully took the economy in to probably the best soft landing in economic history and then Trump decided to crash the plane into the terminal
