It’s one thing if you are talking about 8 minutes remaining in a game. PSU scored their TD under 4 minutes remaining in the game. No way I go for two in that situation. That’s why I wish people would add context instead of blindly stating, “Down by 9, must go for 2.” It’s foolish.

I understand how numbers work. My issue is that I have seen teams do this and the minute that they do not get the two-point conversion, the game is over. The players know how unlikely it is that they score, recover an onside kick, and score again. These are human beings, not a computer simulation.

Going for 2 down 9 is stupid late in the 4th quarter. If you fail, you’re down two scores and you completely deflate your team. I’ll never understand why folks like yourself treat these scenarios as if they are exactly the same.

Does he really drive that many people to the network? I turn that shit off as soon as I hear him start screaming, and I know a lot of people who feel the same way. I just don’t get the draw of people like Skip, Stephen A., Mad Dog Russo, etc. God bless them for getting that paper, though.

The insurance companies don’t just pass along higher rates to people in Florida, we all end up shouldering that burden. I live in Arizona and our insurance rates continue to increase rapidly and we don’t have any natural disasters here.
