Father of a lovely college freshman daughter. Bit of a coding and science nerd, since my day job is essentially a rocket scientist. Enjoy reading, playing golf, and watching football, especially college.
@vanhollen.senate.gov As a government employee who is working for no pay currently, being excepted from furlough, I ask that Senate Democrats vote for the clean CR. The enhanced ACA subsidies were always intended to be temporary relief for the hardship imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The assault on democracy is happening in tiny increments each day. People need to realize this and revolt before fascism has fully engulfed America.

Definitely not to be characterized as a "gentleman".
Trump really has no clue about Trans Atlantic Politics.
Wrong fuckface.

The German conservative party or the Christian Democratic Union, CDU, is not in any way similar to your conservative Nazi movement

They are literally ‘moderate’ Democrats, who are by the way, appalled at what you are doing to the United States.

Amen to this.
Elon Musk spent $280 million to elect Trump, and now Trump has given him the keys to the federal government.

It’s the most corrupt bargain in American history and we need to shut it down NOW.

More and more Republicans in Congress are starting to push back against Elon Musk’s reckless cuts, mass firings, and senseless attacks on the federal government.

It might be a blessing in disguise that our First Felon has no guardrails. With no one advising on his hair trigger impulsive decisions, things quickly go south and his ridiculousness gets exposed. With any luck, maybe some of his cult followers will wake up and see that this needs to stop.

From the article: “The aviation security committee, which was mandated by Congress after the 1988 Pan Am Flight 103 bombing over Lockerbie, Scotland, will technically continue to exist but it won’t have any members to carry out the work of examining safety issues at airlines and airports.”

You may not understand why, but the healthcare insurance and PBM contracts YOU have signed for Tesla, SpaceX , @X, along with CEOs of other big companies , have more impact on healthcare costs and quality of care in this country, than anything you can do with DOGE

It seems that our president-elect has a real knack for surrounding himself with winners.
“The whistle-blower continued, as if in disbelief, ‘A Fox News contributor, with the rank of captain (at the time) in the National Guard, and the CEO of a veterans’ organization . . . was in a strip club trying to dance with strippers.’”
Pete Hegseth was forced to step down from both of the nonprofit advocacy groups that he ran in the face of serious allegations of financial mismanagement, sexual impropriety, and personal misconduct, @janemayer.bsky.social reports.
