i intentionally got a big ass bowl so i can lengthen the time in between water fills (the water pressure in my flat is ass. so slow. very annoying waiting 4 it to fill up even a dinky thing) and yet every time i check the bowl it is EMPTY. SOMEHOW. I JUST FILLED IT 💥💥💥💥💥

flower shop/tattoo parlour au-ing MY reylo?? more likely than you think 😌
Plants are blocking part of her window. Three times in two weeks Rey’s clients can’t locate her tattoo shop because the sign hanging in her window is hidden by greenery from the flower boutique next door. Every time she nudges the stand of pots with flourishing flowers a tad, just enough to get her full window back, the next day she finds it right where it was before. This can’t keep going on. What is their problem? She needs to give that florist a piece of her mind. “Hey!” Confrontation-induced adrenaline has Rey stomping into the florist’s. It drains when she sees the pale man behind the counter delicately arranging a bouquet nearly as striking as him, long fingers positioning stems just so. He looks at her. Oh. Hm. … What was she going to say again?

"You're gonna want to hear what I've got to say this time though. It’s good shit." "Doubtful." Enough silence follows that Ben checks his phone to see if he didn't accidentally hang up. "You there?" "Yeah..." Another pause for dramatic effect because it's Poe and he’ll never pass up a chance to needle Ben. "Rey's back on the market." God damn it, he hates when Poe's right. "Fine, I'm coming over,” Ben barks into the phone, already out the door. “You better tell me everything."

Ben should go. How the hell did Poe talk him into coming to this BBQ? He barely knows Rey. It’s hot. Too loud. There’s no food he can eat here. People don’t care. They never remember. Why should they? His dietary preferences aren’t their problem. He needs to find Poe and tell him he’s heading out. Maybe he should find Rey first. Thank her for inviting him, at least. Luckily for Ben, she’s already waving at him from where she’s stationed in front of her BBQ. When he reaches her, she quickly hands him a paper plate. “You’re not eating anything. Not hungry?” “I’m good.” He grimaces at his brusque tone, quickly adding, “I don’t eat meat.” She points to a smaller, portable grill on the table beside the smoking metal beast she’s masterfully operating. He nearly tears up when she lifts the lid. “I know that.” Rey rolls her eyes, lips curled into a smile. “I made sure to get some of those Beyond things… the fake meat stuff? There’s veggie burgers and dogs and lots left in the fridge I can throw on if you get hungry for more.” Oh. If she notices him swallowing the lump in his throat as he accepts the bag of buns, she doesn’t say anything.
