By having the convicted felons return to society to do a historically frowned upon jobs just really adds tons of layers to the writing. "Society" will allow felons back bt only if they are still at the bottom. Even then they are still being discriminated against #MySweetMobsterEp6

These people were discriminated against and given the worst jobs in society at that time. They were doing jobs no "self-respecting" person would do. That history is reflected in #MySweetMobster as Thirsty Deer is a meat processing company.

Baekjong originated as a nomadic group during the Goreyo era. They were primarily butchers, weavers, or performers. Even forced to become executioners. JJH family in Ashin of the North was an example. Even in modern #kdrama's the job of being a butcher is frowned upon by some
