As of now, I’m based in Lisbon. 🇵🇹 From September, I’ll host monthly workshops here and over the summer, I may just test things in my living room with friends of friends.

Practically? Imagine workshops. I’ve hosted sessions across venues from small spaces and festivals to established venues like Ars Electronica, National Gallery Prague, HEAD Genéve and loved the real-life, the messiness and a temporary third space to talk with strangers in meaningful ways.

And from that space came The Institute of Machine Unlearning: a para-academic performative infrastructure for collective unlearning, feral pedagogy & serious play. Practicing the weird third thing, between AI hype and doomerism, in a messy middle space of participatory inquiry.

Eventually I quit my first PhD in AI, worked at an art gallery, then at @aixdesign.bsky.social and over the years slowly let the glitch in. It came as no surprise that I landed in a second PhD, in critical AI and design. Para-academia born in academia, how funny is that.

I come from pure tech educational background. But even during my studies, something in me resisted the logic of efficiency and control. I felt like i never quite fit the mold, accepted, but always slightly off. Performing something I didn’t fully believe in.
