Mr Schumer. Retired 71 yr old former Fed here (USGS). I know how destructive shutdowns are. But this is a new ballgame. Do not vote for cloture. Don’t vote for the CR. The gov’t is already shut down. Make those assholes own it! Don’t vote yes!

Didn’t Mother Jones do an in-depth expose’ on private for profit prisons a couple years ago? Horrible conditions, little oversight. Another example of privatization that is awful and should never happen

My dad was a great mechanic and we had to place him in a secure dementia facility. My brothers would bring in old carburetors for him to take apart and put together to keep him occupied
