Although, just on source material - Act 2 of Wicked on stage is not THAT BAD. People are acting like it deserves to be taken out the back and shot. It was interesting - maybe not as punchy and it could've been, but it's fine.

As a pair, the Wicked movies are a triumph for adaptations of all types. Stellar performances all around, and it just elicits all the right emotions. They ARE Wicked. It's just looking at things another way. 😉💚🩷

Fiyero's final scene look is... laughable, I'm sorry. Like I actually laughed. They could've done so much better. It's so flat and fake?

My only major critique is that it could've been punchier. I wanted Boq and the Witch Hunters even scarier. I wanted more passion from 'As Long As You're Mine'. I wanted the intensity Cynthia brought to 'No Good Deed' in every part of the film - but even then, it still all hits hard.

A book and a movie are different, because they are able to bring different emotions and thoughts out of audiences. People have taken this idea that any movie adaptation of a book is bad, and as such, books are always automatically better than movies. Stop pitting things against each other.

I understand that people are trying to make a point about slowing down and appreciating things, but at a time where all art and storytelling is at risk, there is no need to diminish the importance of filmmaking as a medium for storytelling.

Seen a lot of random comments saying stuff like:

"People just want to watch a movie and get the story over with instead of taking time with a book"

Or

"Making your own food is like reading the book instead of watching the movie"
