To what end? They're all sociopaths engaged in criminal activity. To expose one exposes all. They simply can't risk it. They'll never even investigate.

It's not the least bit romantic. Two young guys sneaking around, hiding who they are, being angry and verbally abusive to one another. It's not a healthy relationship. It's nothing more than someone's wet dream. Hated it.
