On one of my sojourns, deep into the Sahara. It's a stunning landscape that I'll miss when I leave.

This can get in the bin.

Something tells me that my week in North Wales is going to be a tad different...

I've seen a lot of animals in the wild on my various travels. However, when back in London, I visit the zoo.

Nothing like the sight of penguins!

He bought a birthday card by mistake but 'fixed it' with some tape and a pencil...

Valley of the Kings is pretty fierce, even in April. As it's in a Wadi and continuously exposed to the sun, temperatures can get pretty high. Still, the tombs more than make up for it.

I always like coming to Karnak temple. Although it's busy with tourists, you can still appreciate the vastness of the place along with the intricacies of the art.

Not a bad place to sit and ponder...

Luxor Temple.

Leaving for London in a couple of hours.

I always look forward to it, apart from the cold. Be good to see the OH and hear the boy's Uni stories.

Been a good week with the OH.

First time visiting Egypt for her.

Second time at Saqqara in three weeks. Work this time.

Stunning.

The birth of Pyramid building.

Get a lot of these where I live now.

Death stalker scorpion. Not to be messed with. The key to a dangerous scorpion is small pincers, big stinger...😳

I'm equally shocked by this one's demise too...
