We were dogsitting, and Walt went home this evening. So I’m a little bit sad (but not traumatized).

We’ve been dog-sitting a truly good boy, Walt, who has made us laugh for 2 weeks. Walt goes home this evening, and we’re a little sad about it. And I finally have something to share with @darthbluesky.bsky.social, so there’s that!
The very best good boy, Walt. He’s an adolescent chocolate lab, holding a rainbow ball the size of his head in his mouth. It’s off to one side of his mouth, like a round, colorful cigar, pushing his cheek up. Walt is walking towards the camera, from a black-and-white checkerboard kitchen floor onto a warm, deep honey hardwood floor. He is, of course, wagging his tail.

The cutest wild feline baby. Looks like she just saw her favorite auntie walk in with a cupcake just for her, paws up and mouth open in excitement. Super-cute baby orangutan with fuzzy red hair standing up, sitting in a basket with a red blanket. She’s smiling like she loves you the best. A totally adorable orphan baby elephant says hi, feet resting on the half-door of her shelter and her trunk hanging over it.
